Definition
a set of two or more different strategies for different though closely related constructions that are defined by sets of morphosyntactic similarities (especially co-expression) and differences between the strategies for the different constructions. Example: switch-reference systems represent a set of strategies for same-subject and different-subject - reference tracking constructions. (Section 1.4)
