Definition
a strategy used in the stative complex predicate construction in which the manner or other stative component is packaged as the sole predication, and the event is packaged as the subject argument of the manner predication. Example: in Mokilese ah kijou dahr 'He runs fast' [lit. 'his running is fast'], the speed is predicated of the event. (Section 14.2)
