Definition
a concept evoked or inferrable in the prior discourse that is a member of a poset that also includes the link. Example: in the exchange Do you like this album? Yeah, this song I really like, the album mentioned in the first turn is the trigger that generates a poset together with the song mentioned in the second turn; the latter serves as the link to the trigger.
