Definition
a strategy for the presentational construction in which the referring phrase introducing the referent is expressed as the possessum in a presentational possession construction. Example: Swahili ku na mgeni nyumba-ni [loc.clf with stranger home-at] 'There is a stranger at home', uses the with-possessive strategy of the presentational possessive construction to express the stranger as the possessum; the location at home is expressed by a locative phrase.
