Definition
an event that expresses a desire toward the realization of a future event that is expressed by the complement; and the predicate that expresses the event. Example: in Meagan wants to climb Mt. Baldy on Saturday, wants denotes a desiderative event. Noonan (2007:135) includes intending events in the category of desiderative events. (Section 18.2.2)
